Venegas Tennis International (VTI)
Welcome to Venegas Tennis International. Our programs are led by certified professionals holding credentials from the USPTR (United States Professional Tennis Registry), USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association), and ITF (International Tennis Federation).

Lesson Policies and Regulations

1. General Payment & Scheduling
   • All rates apply per student.
   • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
   • Full payment is required in advance to reserve a place at the beginning of the season.
   • Package pricing is only granted upon full payment for a 12-lesson package.
   • The 12-lesson package must be completed within 100 days of purchase. Flexible scheduling options are provided to help avoid missed lessons.
   • If a student has unused lessons at the end of the season, those lessons may be carried over to the next season; however, they will not be credited or deducted from the payment required for the new season.
2. Make-up & Cancellations
   • Private lessons: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations are non-refundable and rescheduling is not guaranteed. However, if mutually agreed upon and scheduling allows, the lesson may be rescheduled.
   • Semi-private and group lessons: Cancellations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. 100% of the cost will be charged.
   • No-shows without proper notice will be charged in full.
   • Students may send a replacement player in their place if a lesson is to be missed, provided the coach is notified in advance.
3. Rescheduling & Rain Policy
   • Rescheduled private lessons will not be carried over or discounted from future seasonal payments.
   • Rain cancellations are valid only if declared by the instructor at least one hour before the scheduled lesson.
   • If a lesson is interrupted by rain:
     • 5–10 minutes: considered a rainout and may be rescheduled.
     • 10–25 minutes: 50% of the cost will be charged.
     • Over 25 minutes: full charge applies.
4. Payment Methods
   • Payments may be made via cash, bank transfer, or through our online payment portal.
5. Lesson Types & Availability
   • Seasonal and one-time lessons are priced differently.
   • One-time lessons are subject to availability and scheduled at VTI’s discretion.
   • Group lessons require a minimum of 3 players to proceed.
   • Class registration closes 4 hours prior to the scheduled time.
6. Refunds & Withdrawals
   • No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or missed lessons.
   • In case of withdrawal during an active season:
     • Group and semi-private lessons are non-refundable.
     • For private lessons, VTI will retain an amount equivalent to court reservation fees (location-dependent) and 10% of the payment to cover administrative expenses.
7. Code of Conduct & Safety
   • The instructor reserves the right to refuse service or remove a student from the class if they pose a safety risk or engage in harassment toward staff or fellow students.

Liability Disclaimer for Tennis and Pickleball Lessons
By participating in any lesson with Venegas Tennis International, students acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk
   • Tennis and pickleball are physical activities with inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and injuries. Students voluntarily accept these risks.
2. Release of Liability
   • Students release and hold harmless VTI, its instructors, facility owners, employees, and affiliates from any liability for injury, accident, or harm occurring before, during, or after participation in lessons.
3. Medical Responsibility
   • Students are responsible for their own health and should consult a physician before beginning any training. In emergencies, VTI staff may seek medical assistance on a student’s behalf.
4. Personal Property
   • VTI is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
5. Acknowledgment of Terms
   • By participating in lessons, students confirm they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions and waive any legal claims related to injuries or damages sustained.

By participating our tennis or pickleball lessons, the students must acknowledge and agree to the following below:

1. Assumption of Risk – The Students understand that tennis and pickleball are physical activities that involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, equipment-related injuries, and other potential hazards. We voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in these activities.

2. Release of Liability – The Students hereby release, waive, and discharge the instructor(s), facility owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of any injury, accident, or harm that may occur before, during, or after our participation in the lessons.

3. Medical Responsibility – The Students must understand that are responsible for their own health and well-being and should consult a physician before engaging in any physical activity. In the event of injury or medical emergency, The Students authorize the instructor(s) or facility staff to seek necessary medical attention on their behalf.

4. Personal Property – The Students acknowledge that they are responsible for their own personal belongings and that the instructor(s) and facility are not liable for any lost or damaged items.

5. Acknowledgment of Understanding – The Students have read and understand this liability disclaimer. By participating in our tennis or pickleball lessons, The Students agree to these terms and waive of any right to pursue legal action against the instructor(s) or facility for injuries or damages incurred.
